I witnessed one of my audio friend adjusting his multi-channel outputs remotely on his BDP-95.

Does BDP-105 can remotely change volume outputs on its dedicated 2Ch outputs and MCH outputs?

The 105 has an adjustable Master Volume control (0 to 100) that you can use as a preamp's volume gain.
...It's a 32-bit resolution digital volume control, using one of the features from the ESS Sabre32 DAC.

The Multichannel outputs have separate volume adjustment for eight channels (7.1-channel).

Thanks.

So basically, if one sets up 7.1CH for different sensitivity, the master volume function would do the external remote volume control duty (without source switch of course). Maybe I should look into getting back into SACD MCH setup I had abandoned years ago...

That's right; but the separate speaker channel levels are for proper balance between all of them,
then the Master volume is your main sensitivity Gain. :b

* Methinks that Multichannel music from SACDS, and from some DVD-Audios too, plus from Blu-ray Audios only, adds another welcome realistic and fun listening dimension.
Also you have several great Blu-ray Music concerts as well. ...With moving pictures. :cool:
{Multichannel hi-res audio; uncompressed or lossless, plus a separate hi-res stereo audio track (PCM).}

-> Stereo is hi-fi, Multichannel is ultra-fi. :b
