Interesting Legal Case in Australia involving Swatch and Retail Price Fixing

Over the years, many of us have heard about policies regarding the discounting of luxury watches by retailers including claims that Rolex gets very upset about such practices.
While such practices could result in allegations of retail price fixing, the owner of a extremely valuable trademark should have some rights to protect the value of its mark including preventing products sold under the mark from getting the reputation of being highly discounted.

It is an interesting issue which may provoke some comments...
