I currently own a Jadis JP200 preamp which I love like everyone I fancy a change has anyone heard the Jp800 preamplifier while talking about Jadis any one heard the JA500 amps

Many, many years ago heard the JA500s at Michael Gindis first driving Avalons and then MBL101s. IIRC he preferred the Jadis to the CAT at that time (many years ago). I liked the Jadis but always thought they were just a touch illuminated in the upper mids. But the power brings of course a sense of authority to the speakers.

I have just heard the JA200 (and owned some JA/DA series as well), the 200 is quite a beast with a velveted/golden sound - I can imagine the JA500 is just as good or even better.

I know this is a bit off topic...but since your close by, I brought the Koda K10 back to my dealer yesterday...in the price range you're considering...this is something also to consider. I know you have a mostly all Jadis system...just a suggestion on a possible alternative
