    Oppo BDP-83: Can't Play Blu-ray Movie!

    I packed away my BDP-83 player for the same reason. I have a Sony Player from the same period and it plays everything I play through it... I have since switched to the Samsung BD-J7500 Blu-Ray Player. It meets my basic needs... :)

    I call this the Ultimate Cheap Sonic Upgrade... Purchase some Brasso Metal Polish and polish all your Stock Fuse Ends... Lowers the noise floor... Just do not use Brasso on any Silver fuse or silver male AC Plug... :D For another sonic upgrade use Fo.Q TA-32 Tuning Tape on the Glass or Ceramic...

    I sometimes wonder if I enjoy constant tweaking of my system more than listening to great acoustical music... ;) All I know is that every improvement to my system brings me closer to the music and a transcendental state of mind... :D
