Turntable static
I have (had) the same issue with excessive static charges on the records playing on my Bergmann. Using a static 'gun' like Milty helps to some degree, but the cure came when I invested in a Dyson aircleaner / humidifier. Setting the humidity to 40% or 50% makes a huge difference to the 33%...- CC61231

Any Bergmann "Galder" owners here ?
Well - a small change of plans... Having put roughly 60 h on my DS E1 I sold it. Especially the tonality of "more of everything" became too much in my system. Now I have ordered 2 new cartridges instead. Dynavector TE-K and Hana ML. Then I can go back to the Dynavector sound I find pleasing...- CC61231

Thx Philip, I'm actually playing with the DS-E1 on my Galder/Odin at the moment, it is still too new to say if it will stay, but currently I experience that it delivers 'much of all' which can be both good and 'a bit too much'.
