    TAD C600 Pre Amp thoughts....

For CR1-TX, the stand thread size is M6 / I use the RevOpod Damping footer from Arya Audio which work well on my opinion. Kondo will certainly give you beautiful timber and texture - I'm not sure about the control of the speakers... / Maybe keep your Pilium on the side for a while before pulling...

    Audio Critique

I guess that what we like/prefer is not necessarily in line with a theoretical perfect balance between clarity, dynamics and tonality. It mainly depends on the type of listener we are and what is more important for us re clarity, dynamics and tonality. Then we tend to use our preferences to juge...

    Amplification options with TAD speakers

I don't know Vitus + TAD so can't help to assess the differences but I can share my experience with my TAD speakers (CR1tx & ME1) in 2 systems with 2 different setups. The Me1 are driven by a DartZeel integrated amp (CTH-8550) and there is enough power for a small room (20/25m2) with 330 watts...

    Amplification options with TAD speakers

Thanks Amir. I can relate to that - experiences are necessary to understand all those points. I have now sold my tubes preamp & power amps to stick to my original TAD pre / power combo. I just kept a tube DAC besides my TAD CD/DAC. While I'm usually using XLR connections for all my gears, for my...

Oh my, oh my - Aries Cerat Helene DAC

I also find that the Heléne sounds best on RCA output (while I use XLR for all my other gears) - more dynamic, wider soundstage and more transparent. I don't know why honestly... Maybe the XLR output uses a transfo and the RCA is more "pure" ?

    New TAD M700 & M700S

I have KIMBER KABLE KS 3038 speaker cables (Pure Silver) that I use on my smaller TAD ME1 and they are very good. Maybe not as good as cables like Skogrand but their prices are really too high

    New TAD M700 & M700S

Seems that Skogrand prices are much higher

    TAD C600 Pre Amp thoughts....

While Vitus is excellent / CEC Transport too, the sound should be much thicker than using the TAD gears

REVIEW: Lucas Domansky Music Server (LDMS) Minimax

I went through your 4 parts review (twice) and it's truly extremely interesting and very well written. I'm also considering changing my Aurender W20 for a LDMS Minimax. I'm currently in communication with Lucas and may have the chance to experience a home demo in my system before pulling the...

AC Preamps: Impera II & Impera Signature

I had the same dilemma than you and unfortunately there is no black and white answer. A matching CHP preamp for your CHP power amp will ensure that you will have perfect hifi synergie while an AC Preamp could potentially bring you higher in musicality.... I ended buying both (the matching TAD...

You can easily try the premium models from Kimber / Inakustik / Nordost / Kondo / Kharma / … All silver. I'm also in Paris and using the TAD CR1-tx and I can ensure that there is no matching / brightness issue with the beryllium tweeter. Regarding Waycables better to contact them directly...

    New TAD M700 & M700S

During my almost 10 years experience with TAD, I have always felt that qualitative silver speaker cables are overall a better match for TAD Speakers. Not saying that cooper cables are not good but silver cables often bring an increase of speed, articulation, refinement, airiness and fluidity to...

Looking For My End Game Loudspeakers - Stenheim Reference Ultime Two vs. AudioNec EVO3 Signature

I can understand your conclusion if this is what you heard. From my side I have moved from Wilson Audio (WP8 / Alexia) to TAD being impressed by their clarity, dynamics and tonality. I guess that finding a sound that allows us to connect with the emotion of the original performance is the key of...

Looking For My End Game Loudspeakers - Stenheim Reference Ultime Two vs. AudioNec EVO3 Signature

I’m sure that the Stenheim Ref U2 are amazing speakers, I never had the opportunity to compare it to the TAD R1tx and I let you the conclusion of their superiority if you did the listening test. I can relate to the inefficiency @90dB and the needs for powerful amps to drive the R1tx even the...

Looking For My End Game Loudspeakers - Stenheim Reference Ultime Two vs. AudioNec EVO3 Signature

    I understand, Thanks for your feedback * Stenheim Ref U2 = H1535mm x W368mm x D505mm / Weight: 231 Kg each * TAD R1tx = H698mm x W554mm x D698mm / Weight: 150 Kg each

Looking For My End Game Loudspeakers - Stenheim Reference Ultime Two vs. AudioNec EVO3 Signature

Congrats for your Stenheim Reference Ultime Two. Should be amazing in bi-amping configuration. Have you ever considered / listened to the TAD Reference speakers R1tx? Well suited for bi-amping too.

Aries Cerat Ianus Essentia Owners thread

I have a question for the AC Ianus Essentia owners. I'm also using Incito-S (low gain) / Heléne DAC (with gain switch) and I'm wondering if the Ianus Essentia would have enough current to drive my TAD speakers (CR1tx). Not that I'm listening at high volume (I live in appartement) but I mean to...

    Arya Audio RevOPods footers

Dear Stereophonic. This is an old thread but I was wondering if you still use the Arya Audio RevOPods footers under your TAD speakers? Are you happy with it? I'm considering using it too for my CR1tx. Thanks

Aries Cerat factory tour (heavy pic inside!)

Thank you @byrdparis for sharing ! I sincerely believe that Aries Cerat overall offer is really out of this world with down to earth prices compared to what it delivers in this crazy HIFI world. Thanks Stavros for your dedication to music reproduction ! I wish gear sizes would be more manageable...
