Godofwealth please tell us more about your LaScalas? I currently own Cornwall IVs and want to move up to LaScalas but worried no bass below 50 Hz. How is tonal balance? Does it sound tonally brighter as light on bass? I agree with you about Maggies. I recently sold my Maggie 1.7i and compared to...
For me I only heard one time the 6c33c in stereo mode on an all BAT system using their Vk-50 pre amp and I believe the store had them with Martin Logan Sequels forgot the digital front end. From memory they struck me as having a clear sweet crystalline quality. I could hear into the music. At...
Good information here! I probably not look for GM70 with the answers posted here. I myself was considering Finale 300b monos. $5-7k is my price range too! My other choices are Canary Audio, Cary Audio, Sofia Electric & Audio Note Kit 300b. What I really want if I could afford it is either the...
Thank you for your feedback! Something that can turn a good digital recording into music in my room. Since you represent NAF do you have any pics of the inside build so I can see worth double the price. My other choices are Jadis i300 or AN Meishu Tonmeister but I want to get away from 300b into...
I currently own Klipsch Forte IVs and my new Cornwall IVs coming in two weeks. The best piano I have heard in my room is the Forte IVs. Sounds so close to my friends piano in his living room. Before I got the Klipsch I had high hopes for Avantgarde Fino and Uno but sounded too lean with digital...
I just called USA tube audio the distributor. It's called Spark V now but price is now $6k!
How close is Dueundici? Is it still warm and airy sounding?
Thanks!
A question for Morricab!
Is the Spark III more tubier than the Dueundici that you use to own? Your old post rank Spark higher and you say Dueundici clean sounding which I prefer warmer and more juicy.
Thanks!
Ok I will look into Sun Audio as well. I'm not sure 3.5 watts is enough for my Klipsch Forte IVs.
Btw I checked out the Cayin Spark looks promising due to the use of the 6c33c output tube!
Thanks JP! I have Forte IVs so Dueundici makes sense. Btw have you any experience with my other choices in the running? Unison Simply Italy which is same topology as Dueundici and lastly Synthesis Audio Roma 96 DC.
Thanks!
Hi I have a question for Dskip!
I prefer set or sep El34. Say I only need 11 watts which is the better integrated: Dueundici or Dueventi?
I have read you past post and you always prefer the Dueventi. If you wouldn't mind illustrating why it's your favorite.
Thanks!
My budget is maxed out for Dueundici or Unison! Can you briefly summarize Dueundici vs Dueventi I'm Triode mode 10 watts. I am looking for a fat airy sound with warmth. Don't want a lean dry sound. Thanks!
Yes I heard of this brand. Was thinking of the Roma 96 DC but when I saw their transformer graph having a tilt up after 5khz I decided against it. Is Soprano still in current line up? I will have to go tocl website and check it out again!
Thanks! So they are both warm. Leaning towards Simply Italy as also has subwoofer out. And I know more people who owns this amp that day it's warm fun amp. Great bass maybe highs little tipped up.
Hi everyone,
I narrowed down to two choices. Mastersound Dueundici or the Simply Italy. I want a singled ended El34. Any other suggestions welcomed. I need to stay in $3k price range though.
I want the warmer, juicer sounding amp.
Any thoughts from people who has heard both?
Thanks!
Hi Sangbro,
I currently own Audio Note AN-E Lx. They
repoduce properly sized piano images. Let me know if you listen to them how accurate they are. If budget not a problem my current favorite is Stenheim Alumine 3.
Thanks Christoph! I know you are a horn lover. I will report after I have heard them. I am kinda looking for poor man's version of Stenheim Alumine three!
