I read once that a Physist tried to get out of running a red light by saying the light "Phase shifted" to green. The judge had to look up what Phase shifting of light was and he came back to the...
I am not sure if mine needs a "Massage", but one of my mono blocks needs some cold solder joints fixed.
Sorry to take a bit to get back to you. Been working too much and then went on vacation.
Check out www.bobcarver.com. He currently has two sets of mono block tube amps. 180 and 305 watts. I...
Congrats! I never win anything.
I think it would be possible for a CRT to display HD, the cost and weight would be prohibited. I think a 36" CRT in the day weighed over 200 lbs. My 56 DLP is about 70 lbs.
Edit: Forgot to...
Here are some chickens I did at Carverfest last year!
I know on other forums if you start an Emovita thread a fight will break out.
If you look at the XPA series, the XPA-5 is 200 watts by 5 so 200 watts by 9 is a lot of channels delivering a good...
That looks very good!
That looks great! I am a big fan of smoking meat low and slow!

This thread has not been posted in for a while. My other hobby, well it was my first as I started when I was about 8yo, if fresh water fish. I currently have a 120g with a few Oscars in it. I need...
I never heard of John Carver until I saw the previews on TV. Even then I had no desire to go and watch it. I guess I saved myself some $$. Too bad for Disney. Looks like they will need to open...
Every one will be broken. Might take 80 years or more but as long as they play the game some young gun will come up and do what we think can't be done.
Looks like I won't have such a rare set of amps. I went out to Carver's web site and it looks like they changed their minds on offering the 305's in only black. Now you can get them in cherry also....
Thanks for the warm welcome!
As some of you know, Bob Carver started a new company and is now building hand made, Built in the USA, tube amps. www.bobcarver.com
As Bob was making his new...
