Why do Martin Logans sound lean/ thin (transparent) compared to other stats?
I get it. You were a dealer and had some falling out with ML and you don't like their speakers. Enough said. By the way what speakers do you own. I might want to buy a pair Ha- VFA

When I do serious listening I'm sitting in the sweet spot. Do other people do serious listing not sitting in the sweet spot. When I'm not doing serious listening I don't really care so much about the sound but I like the music. Therefore the fact that you have to sit in the sweet spot of...- VFA

I would have the tubes re biased. Arc is selling new amplifiers with the KT 150. It behooves them to sell a new amplifier rather than have someone tube roll. Plus they may simply be saying that they have not tested the unit and don't plan to test the unit with these tubes. I still don't get why...- VFA

In my experience with ML's the bigger the stator the more holographic the sound. I have not heard the Neolith but I can't imagine they would not send incredible with the right amplification. Look forward to some comments on the sound by people that actually here them.- VFA

I own Montis which has a powered 12 in woofer in a closed cabinet. The base shook the panel so much it diminished the midrange clarity. Therefore I Added 2 ML Balanced subs 212 and decreased the Montis woofer to minus 10 dB. Then used the custom low pass filter and PBK room correction that...- VFA

Miles I have an old VT 200 amplifier. I called audio research to see if I could switch out the tubes to KT 150s. They say no. Do you knowif this is really possible or not- VFA

On another note am I the only one who feels Anne Bisson cannot sing and her lyrics are atrocious . The sound is good but can't stomach the music- VFA

I do not believe that you have to be able to measure a difference for there to be a difference. But if you cannot measure a difference or hear a difference then there probably is no difference. That's my comment on HFT's. I excepted other people think they work. I'm just wondering whether there...- VFA
