    If you're around the west chicago suburbs Simply Stereo has the new Kore and Epikore 11 on display. I was hoping for a more consumer friendly price for the epikore 11, but the sound is all I could ask for and they were showing them off with a modest Mac Ma352 integrated.

    Sibilance with Hegel H390 powered system

    Idk if the 390 and 590 use the same dac but I would think the least amount of components in the chain offers the smallest chance of noise entering the system. The h360 is a clean quiet unit, but slightly softer on top next to the h590. Sorry I never got the 390 home.

    I put a bid on the Aeries that were at the 22 axpona, but they were fully active so when I was outbid I let them get away. I enjoyed the effortless presentation and am a sucker for their looks. Congrats.

    There was a pair that came up locally and it was $1000 more than others were asking and I let them go. kinda wish I woulds ponied up. The Blades are good, but the music are still on my bucket list.

    One speaker/system or multiples?

    I was at a point when I had 3-4 pair of full range speakers at the same time, salon 2, usher be20dmd, persona 7f and Meridian dsp 8000seup and enjoyed swapping them around for their different trade offs, but in reality I was just not ready to commit to a single pair to build around.
