I've made my decision. The order was made yesterday, but due to the fact that the distributor didn't have it stocked, they had do order it from the manufacturer. Hopefully, I'll get it before christmas.
The one I picked, ticked three out of four of my "boxes".

Sorry to hear about your experience with Burmester. Would be interesting to know what the difference in sound from the demo model to the production model was.

The Avid is more dynamic and is dead quiet. The air-suspension-system of Bergmann makes some minor noise, but not audible when you play music. The Galder has a more open sound with better holography. I won't say one is better than the other, more that they have their strengths in different...
I have not tried Sindre, but tried Magne a couple of years ago. Used to have an Avid Acutus SP, which also is a lovely TT, but couldn't afford to sit on two rigs.

I did the review in 2014 just when it was launched. Since the magazine went in a year later I can't find it on the web, but I'll have a look tomorrow to see if I can find it at home.

I've had the EVO3 Titan at home for review and I must admit it was even better than the G2, but I haven't made that change a priority - yet. Would have been nice to try the Mosaic Genesis, too. I'll just have to save up the dough first, since I'm afraid letting it out of the system after a...
It was actually Keith Martin from Isotek himself that was here to set up my two Isoteks and Synchro-cables. I've met him many times after that, too. Both here in Norway and in Munich at the High End Society's show.

I thought so, too, but since it didn't spesify Norway, just the other nordic countries, I got the impression they did not cover Norway. Anyhow they're based outside Norway, which usually means it's harder to get the products for demo.

My living room isn't big. It's a small living room, even by Norwegian standards. It measures approx. 3,6 x 7,1 meters (11,7 x 23,3 feet), but I'm able to use half of it for my hobby. (I've got a tolerant wife)
My room measures pretty well to be a normal living room. I've got a frequency...
Couldn't find the price of the IO on the Norwegian distributor's website. But when What Hi-Fi? testet it in 2012 they quoted just below 17000 pounds for it, so I guess it would be out of my price range anyhow.
Here's my listening room (part of my living room, actually). Except for the...
The Wave Kinetics has got three inputs, but only one balanced.
The Aesthetix IO has only input for both rca and XLR, but you have to choose which one you're going to use, and you can't adjust the RCA- and XLR-inputs separately.
Here's my turntable with arm and pu that needs a new...
I know you can get the ASR pretty cheap, but there's a new model just released with high voltage-technology that the old ones didn't have. The price has increased by around 40 per cent, too. I know a lot of the guys have the Burmester 100, and maybe I need to borrow one of theirs to hear it in...
I think I might get the ASR Basis Exclusive for a demo at home, a very slim chance of getting the Burmester. I've also asked DSA if they'd like to send me one for me to check out, but the Boulder could be tough, as I don't think the Norwegian distributor will bring one in for demo if he's not...
I've had the pleasure to try the Ypsilon-amps you've got, but not the phono stage. I'll see if there's a possibility to try the Burmester at home. Could be tricky, since the norwegian distributor doesn't have it stocked.
