    Magico Q3- Impressive listen

Way too early to give any meaningful response as to what they really have as a potential. However, in my totally non-acoustically treated room, but with the upstream products I've got, Demetris of Ypsilon was impressed with what he heard. He knows his own products (and their sound character)...

    Magico Q3- Impressive listen

Hi all. Guess this is the "official" Q3 thread, so I'll just pop a few URLs here depicting my all-out new Ypsilon & Q3 setup. I took delivery just a few weeks ago, speakers (and Ypsilon as well) still being burning-in; guess they've got roughly 100 hours on their back. Perps having had their...

    Thales Simplicity review in Stereophile.

I've got the Thales turntable - and with both the Thales and Simplicity arm. Had them both installed and aligned with Micha himself, in my listening room. Only way to go for me (being complete illitterate on the how-to & what not). Do it deliver? You bet! Cheers!

Tube or SS phono stage? Vote for your prefernce.

Tube. I've got the Ypsilon VPS 100 (and the step up as well), so I guess it goes without saying what my pick was. Cheers!

    Wilson - and Krell

Hi there! Being a perfectly spoilt Puppy ;) with my all-out Krell 5.1 HT setup ... I was challenged by the local Krell, Wilson (you-name-what-not) hiend dealer: "Your Krell Lat-1's are hiend, no doubt. But they're not HIGH END. Why don't you check out a pair of MAXX3's and listen for...

    The future of Krell

Did you happen to talk to Dan about future products? Will he stick to amps, or will he go for front ends, like CD or SACD? Also, did you happen to look at the rear of the amps? Did it have CAST, or is that a proprietary to Krell alone? Cheers!

    Krell Processors

I'm thrilled you liked it! Haven't seen your setup: do you have images taken of it posted on the Net? --- Me myself am eagerly awaiting EVO 555 .. initially supposed to be launched 2Q 2010 .. now postphoned 2Q 2011 :(

    The future of Krell

Really? I was under the impression Esoteric was the provider of the new transport, no?

    Krell Processors

Yes, it's a brilliant amplifier! The Norwegian Krell distributor borrowed my EVO 403 when he had run short on amplifiers in a hiend-fair in Horten (small town in Norway) Have a look at this thread (warning: many images!)...

    Krell and me go deep

I went from tubes to SS. I used to have Dynavector DV3000 Gold pre and AudoResearch D-150 amp. Beautiful stuff, regret it dearly I let it go: could have 2 nice setups :( I started out my first full all-Krell setup with DVD Standard, KAV 300iL and LAT-2. I later wanted to take the full...

The What Tonearm Are You Using Thread

My first serious setup had a Dynavector DV507 arm (with a few different PU's I could swap, depending on if I played Jazz or Classical recordings) mounted on a Technics SP10mkII TT + DV/6A Silvered StepUp, fed into a Dynavecor DV3000Gold preamp My second attempt was the SME V GOLD & Thales...
