Low Compliance Cartridges for the Sperling TA1 Tonearm

BTW: I have the Sperling NRM-1 Motor on my Acoustic Solid. If the Tonearm is as well made as the Motor you are in for a treat!

Low Compliance Cartridges for the Sperling TA1 Tonearm

Check out: Miyajima Labs: Due to the construction of the dampeners and absence of a tension wire, they work very well in heavy Tonearms.

Any thoughts on Furutech phono cables?

I had the Ag-12 RCA-RCA. The only regret I have about it is that I had to sell it for the sake of a 5pin-din cable (Kimber Tak H, quite a step down for me). Based on my experience with the AG-12 I would buy the Silver Arrow in a heart beat (If I had that kind of Money laying around). Have since...

How COULD upgraded Ethernet cables make a positive difference? What's behind it?

After testing even the cheaper ethernetcables from Audioquest against a stock cable of the same category, to me the difference is bigger then what I hear on USB cables... Can't help you with why that would be.

hORNS Universum MkIII - hORNS by Auotech

Hi Bonzo Thanks for the Reply. What I mean by localized image is, if I have a vocal on the recording, is that vocal clearly defined in center stage or spread across the whole room as you can get with some Horn loaded speakers?

hORNS Universum MkIII - hORNS by Auotech

Hi Bonzo Thanks for the report. Very Interesting! Can you confirm that they manage to throw a localized image and soundstage instead of blurring everything? Best Wishes

DAC problem. Laptop AC causing disturbance to the sound.

What you are hearing is the difference between a cheap switchmode psu powering the battery in your laptop VS just the battery. I hear the same fuzzy effect when connecting the PSU to the Chord Hugo DAC VS just running on the Battery. Forget all the measurement ideas of Battery providing...
