Any thoughts on Furutech phono cables?
I had the Ag-12 RCA-RCA. The only regret I have about it is that I had to sell it for the sake of a 5pin-din cable (Kimber Tak H, quite a step down for me). How COULD upgraded Ethernet cables make a positive difference? What's behind it?
After testing even the cheaper ethernetcables from Audioquest against a stock cable of the same category, to me the difference is bigger then what I hear on USB cables... Can't help you with why that would be. -

DAC problem. Laptop AC causing disturbance to the sound.
What you are hearing is the difference between a cheap switchmode psu powering the battery in your laptop VS just the battery. I hear the same fuzzy effect when connecting the PSU to the Chord Hugo DAC VS just running on the Battery. Forget all the measurement ideas of Battery providing...
