I couldn't get too excited over Panasonic flat panels so here are the images without commentary:

Here is Sharp:

And reincarnation of Sony's Quantum Dot technology:

The red color was most impacted.

Nice resolution chart and they were letting you see the pixels with a magnifier:

Really cool curved LCD that you could put on top of the column:

Not being a Nikon man I walked right past their booth but not before taking a shot of this camera circle that lets one images like the Matrix that seemingly freezes time:

And now we get to Samsung. It was shocking to walk in and see that only a small portion of their booth had TVs!

Notice the "infinite possibilities and IoT tag line."

Their version of curved monitors which did not ship yet:

The details in these image were stunning:

Here comes my ex-employer, Sony:

Sony's 4K movie server:

Not sure why you would care about high-res audio in a TV but here it is:

Check out this stunning shot of what is above Sony's booth. Reminds me of a space ship!

This is a pretty cool eye tracking device. Not super accurate but good enough to draw things and select buttons and such:

Another device that won an award:

Oh man, this is finally it! Remind me to never play blogger again. This is hard work! Now I have 156 images to upload of the high-end suites and not sure how I can mange those but I will somehow....

Hope you find these informative.

Super good report Amir. I am amazed at all the innovation in TV's

Like Lee the glassless 3D TV sure caught my eye.

Is the 50" LG OLED the same one that they brought to CES 4 years ago that was beyond anything I have ever seen including it's 3D ability which was simply stunning and without motion artifacts

Thanks for the kind words everyone :).

You reminded me. 3-D was missing in action this year. I mean completely gone. The one glass less one had wider viewing angle but hardly any 3-D effect. It was more like a bit of embossing. That is from me just walking slowly across the front of it.

Prior years was full of 3-D. You could not get into a Samsung or LG booth without someone shoving a 3-D glasses onto your head. This year other than the above set, I don't recall anyone trying to even show it!

As to LG OLED, I am sure this is later iterations although it looks as stunning as it did in the first prototype.

I really hope LG sticks with OLED and keeps driving prices down.

LG is coming out with a flexible OLED which can convert from a flat screen to a curved model by pushing a button. 77" is the advertised size.

Lee
Yes, both Samsung and LG showed similar sets last year. The LG you are referring to is the EG9900. My data shows shipping date of "second half of 2015." Which means don't count on it :).

Adding on, for those of you waiting for flat OLED displays, here are the LG models, both are UHD/4K:

EF9800: 65 inch
At less than two tenths of an inch thick, it's skinnier than a ballpoint pen—so skinny, in fact, that there was no room left for built-in speakers. It ships with a sound bar that's integrated with LG's Music Flow system, but serious cinema geeks can easily integrate it into their own high-end audio setups.

LG's EF9800 is a 65" 4K flat OLED TV that comes bundled with an external Harman Kardon sound bar and LG's new anti-glare filter. The EF9800 is powered by a new ten-core (!) processor that runs LG's new WebOS Smart TV platform.

EF9500: 55 and 65 inch
....use a new anti-glare filter, webOS 2.0 OS and quad-core CPUs.
